Impact of Text Links
When it comes to using text links, many people are confused and have a bad impression as to what the effects of their purchases or rentals are going to have. There are people out there who believe that they can build any site, get a lot of text links and have a good amount of traffic coming in automatically. While it may seem redundant to say this over and over again, this just simply is not true. There is no proven formula to getting big amounts of visitors per month.
One of the worst things to do is to think that you have to put in little effort into your site if you have the right text links. This may work in the short run, but in most cases it will result in burned-out sites in the longterm. Most people do not want to visit blogs and sites without substance and they will not return to your site if you are lucky enough to get them in. You need to have good content and a good solid site that can draw in people on its own. You need to have a site that can generate repeat visitors.
You spend the hundreds, or thousands, of dollars on text linking for a reason. You want to bring in people who otherwise would not have discovered your site for a long time, if at all, and keep them coming so you can generate ad revenue off of them. If you misuse text links by leading people into a worthless site, however, you won’t make any return, at least not a sizable one, on your investment.
It may sound like this point is getting hammered in, but it is an important one. Before you even consider setting up text links and paying money to get people into the site, make sure you have a quality product and a good site to visit. Work hard on all aspects of building a site, not just text linking.
